Halo Reach review

One of my personal favorite games. Unless you've been under a rock for the past decade then you probably heard of the Halo franchise either from a friend or one of those live action commercials that has very creepy choir backround music. Halo is

        Let's start with the Story: This is a prequel to Halo: Combat Evolved and you play the role as Noble 6, a newly added member to Noble Team. Noble team is a group of Spartan supersoldiers and half of them have a foreign accent. Without giving any spoilers, I will say that this is one of the more gloomy games that developer Bungie has created and the story is a bit easier to understand than their past games.

        Next up is the Graphics: The game has a nice vibrant world and the art direction is superb. as you fight on the ground banshees (evil flying spawn from Barney) dogfight against the human's falcons. While when I played, the graphics didn't give me the OMG DIS IZ AMAZING feeling it still looks great compared to the games today.

        Gameplay: Halo Reach is much like it's predecessors when it comes to gameplay. Though at times it has its own little modifications such as armor abilities to keep things fresh. For example, let's say there's a noob high above a ledge camping with a sniper rifle. You can use an armor ability such as a jet pack to fly up there with a Gravity hammer to knock the living hell out of him/her. Also, Halo Reach has a lot of unintentional funny moments such as a random plasma grenade sticking someone in the face. Overall the halo gameplay doesn't really break the wall in first person shooters but it's still extremely fun to play.

      Replay value: Halo has a bucketload of reasons for you to come back and play. From the unlockable armor to the unforgiving skulls, this has a lot of content jam packed into it. Also, there is a map editor so you can create your own (hopefully not vulgar) levels. When it comes to it, Halo Reach will keep you busy for months if not years.

      Ranking: I make up my own video gaming ranking system OMFG I HAZ TO GET DIZ as the highest to E.T 2 being the worst. I will happily give this game the ranking of OVER 9000!
